Anglia in Bloom Competition Judging
Through The Friends of Norwich in Bloom, Norwich is part of the regional Anglia in Bloom environmental campaign, The Friends enter Norwich into the annual Anglia in Bloom competitions and show environmental care, cleanliness, enhancement, responsibility and management of the city, through Norwich City Council, its residents, schools, colleges, groups, organisations, business, sponsors, supporters and all those who wish to be involved through the Norwich in Bloom initiative.
The Friends of Norwich in Bloom aim to show as much as possible of Norwich's environmental ongoing work, projects and achievements across the city, through the judging Anglia in Bloom standards of achievement certificates are gained as well as valuable feedback and suggestions from the judges to aid future sustainment and enhancement.
Communities who achieve consistent high standards at Anglia in Bloom level may be entered through the regional Anglia in Bloom Trustees into the national RHS Britain in Bloom competition.
A 30 page portfolio showing community, business and council activities and initiatives over the past 12 months is presented to the judges, display boards and press clippings are also shown during their visits. To view the 2012 Portfolio CLICK HERE
